Menu

Navigation and the message menu. Two sections.

Navigation

  • Hide the bottom navigation bar — removes the bottom tabs. Their destinations move to a Menu button beside More options: Contacts, Calls, Settings, blindGram Area, Profile. A long press on Profile switches account.
  • Merge bottom bar menu into More options — with the bar hidden, put those destinations at the top of More options instead of behind their own button.
  • Show Ghost mode in More options — keeps a Ghost mode command in More options. Turning it off only hides the command; if Ghost mode is on it stays on, and it can still be switched from General.
  • Always show Proxy settings in More options — keeps Telegram's proxy entry reachable even when no proxy is active.
  • Proxy button in the toolbar — puts proxy in the chat list header beside More options instead of inside the menu. It replaces the menu entry rather than adding a second one.

Message menu

  • Single tap opens menu for every message — a long press is the hardest gesture to make with a screen reader, so a single tap opens the message menu instead.
  • Single tap opens menu for text messages — the same, limited to text messages.
  • Show Reactions As Menu — reactions open as a grid in a dialog you can walk through, instead of the strip beside the message.
  • Hide the sender when saving to Saved Messages — saving a message to Saved Messages drops the original sender's name.
  • Show Copy link in the message menu — adds Copy link to the menu.
  • Ordering menu items — the reorder screen for the message menu: switch off the entries you never use and move the ones you use to the top. Up and Down buttons on each row; dragging is not needed.
