Files, downloads, seeking, voice, music, and video. Eight sections.

Delete downloaded media with message — deleting a message also removes the file it downloaded to your phone.
Save files with original names — a downloaded file keeps the name the sender gave it. Without a name, one is built from the date. On by default.
Hide the player notification for voice messages — a voice message no longer puts a player in the notification shade.

Download folder — where downloads are written. The list offers Default and each storage the app can write to, including a memory card. If the chosen folder disappears, downloads quietly return to the default rather than failing.
Auto-download small attachments — the master switch for automatic downloading. Off, nothing downloads on its own — no photo, video, file, or voice — whatever Telegram's own Data and Storage settings say. On, Telegram's settings apply, plus a small allowance for voice messages. One thing it does not stop: while you are listening, the next voice message or track is still fetched, because that is playback rather than background downloading. Its own rows are Auto-Download and Play Next Voice and Auto-Download and Play Next Music.
Play sound when download completed — a short sound when a download finishes.
Fast transfer percentage announcements — announces every percentage instead of at most one a second. Faster feedback, more interruptions. Off by default.
Announce only the transfer percentage — while a transfer is running, the message says the percentage alone instead of the whole message again.

Change More Voice Speed — the faster playback speed used by the speed control.
Rewind/forward step amount (Percent) — how far one press moves, as a share of the whole.
Rewind/forward step amount (Second) — how far one press moves, in seconds.
Rewind/forward by Second — use the seconds figure rather than the percentage.
Voice message slider accessibility — makes the voice message position slider adjustable with the screen reader.

Open the attachment menu full screen — the attachment menu opens full screen instead of as a sheet.
Make attachment thumbnails focusable — each thumbnail in the picker becomes its own stop.
Enable in-app camera — Telegram's own setting for taking a photo inside the app.

Device Sound In Voice Recorder — keeps the device's own audio processing while recording. Turning it off may lower the quality of what you record.
Voice Quality (Sample Rate) — the recording sample rate.
Play a sound when recording starts — a tone confirms recording began.
Vibrate when recording starts — a buzz confirms recording began.
Use high vibration intensity when recording starts — a stronger buzz, for when the short one is not felt.
Vibrate when Lock recorder — a buzz when the recorder locks for hands-free recording.
Review a voice message before sending — releasing the button opens the recording for review instead of sending it. Play it, then send or discard.
Remember Voice playback position — a voice message resumes where you stopped.
Play voice messages in the earpiece — voice plays in the earpiece rather than the loudspeaker.
Auto-Download and Play Next Voice — while one voice message plays, the next is fetched so it starts without a gap.
Enable pause music on record — Telegram's own setting for pausing music while you record.

Play music in the earpiece — music plays in the earpiece rather than the loudspeaker.
Auto-Download and Play Next Music — the next track is fetched while the current one plays.

Keep video speed for all videos — the speed you choose applies to every video, not just the one you set it on.
Remember Video playback position — a video resumes where you stopped, whatever its length.
Video slider accessibility — makes the video position slider adjustable with the screen reader.
Put video player controls in the top bar — moves rewind, play, and forward into the header, where they are easy to find by touch.
Show next and previous buttons in the media viewer — adds buttons for moving between items instead of swiping.
Show Story Next, Previous and Play Buttons — stories are normally driven by tapping invisible zones. This adds real previous, play/pause, and next buttons. On by default.
Make player buttons semi-transparent — the added buttons sit more lightly over the picture.
Repeat short videos automatically — a short clip loops instead of stopping.
